1. Pink Fused Alumina Introduction
Pink Fused Alumina is White Fused Alumina with chrome oxide (<0.5% Cr2O3) has been added in the fusion process to produce a grain that is slightly tougher than regular white fused alumina used for grinding unhardened high alloy steels. Pink aluminum oxide isobtained by fusion of calcined alumina and chrome ore in electric arc furnaces. Its high purity and self-edged reposition characteristic makes RU a special product for vitrified grinding wheels.

5. Pink Fused Alumina Applications
Pink fused alumina is suitable for manufacturing vitrified abrasives for working hardened steels and alloys with tensile strengths of over 50 kg/mm². It is also used in tool grinding, saw and knife-sharpening applications, precision grinding, profile grinding, flute grinding, tooth grinding, dry grinding of blade segments and mounted points/ wheels.
