1. Calcined Flint Clay Introduction
Calcined kaolin flint clay clinker is a mixture of various aluminosilicates. The main chemical composition is Al2O3 and SiO2 two oxides, impurities are mainly alkali, alkaline earth and iron, titanium and other oxides, and some organic matter. These oxides play the role of help melting, will reduce the refractoriness of raw materials. Therefore, the lower content of impurity in calcined kaolin flint clay clinker, especially the lower Na2O + K2O, the higher the refractoriness. And the ratio of Al2O3 / SiO2 is closer to the theoretical value (A / S = 0.85), then the higher purity of calcined kaolin flint clay clinker. Larger A / S, higher the refractoriness, and wider the sintering melting range. High quality calcined kaolin flint clay clinker refractoriness can up to 1750 ℃ or more.
