Tilting Furnace Barmac Crushed Calcined Blue Brown Fused Alumina 95% for Vitrified Abrasives
1. Brown Fused Alumina Descriptions
Brown Fused Alumina is made by a reduction fusion of high quality bauxites in an electric arc furnaces. Because of its low iron content, alumina is often used in blasting operations where iron contamination on the non-ferrous metal substrate is not allowed. Aluminium oxide is a very hard and sharp abrasive that cleans rapidly. It leaves an anchor profile prior to coating and is suitable for removal of scale, rust and old coatings. Furthermore it is used for ceramic grinding wheels, refractory applications and polishing and grinding.
2. Brown Fused Alumina Characteristics
a. Direct manufacturer
b. High crystallinity
c. Good reputation
d. High toughness
e. High stability
3. Brown Fused Alumina Applications
Brown fused alumina is widely used as a raw material in many industries:
1. Due to its high toughness, it is recommended for for use in grinding wheels, cutoff wheels, points, blasting abrasives, etc..
2. It is also recommended for high performance grinding wheels.
3. Calcined BFA is heat treated in a rotary kiln at high temperatures and magnetic treated. These procedures guarantee low iron content and high toughness. It is recommended for high performance grinding wheels.
4. The friable brown fused aluminum oxide presents an excellent cost/benefit relation, being recommended for wood and drywall coated abrasives.
5. The semi-friable brown fused alumina has heat treatment giving better grain cutting performance to increased toughness and constant replacement of edges of the grains can be used in extreme applications.
4. Brown Fused Alumina Packing
Brown Fused Alumina BFA Packing:
