1. Tabular Alumina Introduction
Tabular alumina is a kind of pure sintered corundum , which is sintered and completely shrink without adding any additive, such as MgO or B2O3, with coarse crystals and well-developed Al2O3 crystal structure. The excellent thermal volume stability and thermal shock characteristics can be attributed to its specific microstructure: low open porosity and large crystals with closed spherical pores,which are entrapped upon re-crystallization during rapid sintering.

3. Tabular Alumina General Advantages
a. White tabular alumina is widely used in high performance refractories in the fields of iron and steel;
b. High thermal stability, good toughness;
c. Stable chemical properties;
d. The corrosion resistance of alkaline slag, slag and hot metal is good
4. Tabular Alumina Characteristics
Tabular alumina balls are long lasting, smooth, high chemical purity, resistant to thermal shock, and resistant to the mechanical and abrasive actions found in catalyst support systems. Additionally, tabular alumina balls do not produce fines and dust to contaminate the product stream, and are unaffected by oxidizing and reducing atmospheres at temperatures well below the softening point.
5. Tabular Alumina Applications
1. Ideal in applications such as inert catalyst bed supports
2. Regenerative burner bed applications
3. Deep bed molten aluminium filtration
4. Heat exchange media
5. Catalyst reactor
